I had the pleasure to meet and photograph France’s Ambassador to the United States today. Ambassador François Delattre was appointed Ambassador of France to the U.S. in 2011 after serving as Ambassador of France to Canada (2008-2011), Consul General in New York (2004-2008) and Press and Communications Director at the French Embassy in Washington, D.C. (1998-2002). He has also held several other positions in the French government since 1989.
Ambassador Delattre was in Annapolis to tour the offices of Beneteau America, a French yacht builder with it’s U.S. Sales and Marketing offices headquartered in Annapolis. Laurent Fabre, President of Beneteau America, spoke with the Ambassador about upcoming developments in the company, and also took him on a tour of a Beneteau power yacht docked behind the offices.
