David Anderson Photography is
located in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland, but clients from as
far away as Germany, Japan, and Switzerland have commissioned
Mr. Anderson. He has also completed portrait and commercial assignments
in approximately 35 states around the USA.
What Services Do
We Offer?
David Anderson Photography is
primarily a portrait studio (children, families, and business,
both on-location and in the studio) but we do offer corporate
commercial services
on a limited basis. In addition to these services, reproduction
and restoration of old photos
is quickly becoming a big
part of our business.
About the Photographer...
 David Anderson, Cr. Photog., CPP is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer
(CPP), one of only a handful in the entire Mid-Atlantic region.
In fact, fewer than 3% of all photographers in the world have
achieved CPP status. In addition, he received the prestigious
Photographic Craftsman degree at the 2002 PPA International
Convention in Atlantic City. These designations reflect that
he is one of top photographic experts on the East Coast.
But, "what does all
of this really mean?", you might ask. The Professional Photographers of America,
the world's oldest and largest photographers organization, grants
Certification to a photographer only after he has proven
to an International Board of Review that he is an experienced,
knowledgeable, and skilled photographer, and that he also
practices professional and ethical business standards.
How is this proof obtained? The photographer must first pass
a comprehensive written examination, and then must submit
examples of client images to an International Board of Review.
If his images pass this tough judging panel, then his personal
and business references are contacted to assure his ethics and
character. CPP status is granted only after all these requirements
are met, and the photographer must provide proof of Continuing
Professional Education to maintain the CPP status. The Photographic
Craftsman degree is awarded only to those photographers who have
made "significant contributions to the profession of photography
through continuing education, and the sharing of knowledge with
fellow photographers".

Red Cross, American Heart Association, and other agencies.)
